I am sorry to say the issue is still not resolved. All goes well till Step 5. 'Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book' is not active - do you say it is 'greyed out'? I am not able to change it - though it is already ticked. Perhaps the problem goes back a bit further. Maybe if I set out what I have now it will help: 1. I have moved to this new computer (Windows 10 and Outlook 2016) from Windows Mail in Vista. Somehow I have managed to get my contacts from the old computer to show up in the 'people' app on the new computer (I think I got this to happen by moving them there via outlook.com?). These contacts do not show in 'Contacts' or Outlook 2016 address Book. I did manage separately to import the contacts via a USB stick and.csv files into 'Contacts' and Outlook 2016 Address Book (on the new computer). However these two were not linking - ie if I added a new contact in either place it was not showing in the other. So I have now deleted all imported contacts from 'contacts' and Outlook 2016 Address Book. If I now manually enter an address in either 'Contacts' or Outlook 2016 Address Book it does not show in the other. So at present there are contacts in the 'people' app, but none in 'Contacts' or Outlook 2016 Address Book. Thank you for your patience and assistance. Hello Cliff, Contacts need to be present in People on Outlook 2016 and not in the People app on Windows 10, in order for them to reflect as an Outlook Address Book. You need to make sure to import contacts from your contacts CSV file into Outlook 2016 people. To do so open the People tab in Outlook 2016 and follow these steps: To import click on File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Import from another Program or File > Comma Separated Values > Browse to the location where the file is.CSV saved and select and open the file > Select the option Do not import duplicates > Select the folder into which you want to import (People or Contacts) and complete the import. Once completed check if you are able to access your contacts in Outlook 2016. If not, then you may try creating a new Outlook Profile, setup your email account in the new Profile and then import your contacts into People on the new Profile following the same steps to import as mentioned above.
